Special Sales: research into and development of alternative markets, where appropriate.
Sales promotion to book trade and other outlets overseas, either through representatives or distributors.
Targeted mailing of catalogues, advance information sheets, publicity bulletins and other promotional material.
Notification of title details to Whitakers, Teleordering, Book Data, Bibliographic Data Services, etc.
NB. It is vital that the representation of new titles commences a least 3 months before publication date, so that all outlets can be covered in advance. To achieve this, an advance information sheet and jacket are required, to be followed by details of on-going publicity as they develop.
